When QB freezes opening a company file, first try opening a sample file or holding CTRL while opening to bypass issues; if that fails, use the QB Tool Hub (Company File Issues > Quick Fix my Program), repair the file with Verify/Rebuild Data (File > Utilities), move the .qbw file to a new folder, rename the QBWUSER.INI file, or update/repair your QB installation. https://hackmd.io/@grumpygilligan/
